FARM FOREL
Farm Forel is a contemporary reinterpretation of a 1980s house, transformed into a modern farm estate with a main residence and a separate farm building. The clients’ goal was to take an outdated, neglected structure and turn it into a functional and contemporary farmhouse.
The project involved a complete restoration, adapting the old building into a cohesive estate while preserving its rural character. Natural materials — wood, stone, and textured plaster — were used throughout, and a thatched roof references the local architectural tradition. Large openings and terraces connect the interior with the surrounding landscape, allowing the environment to shape the experience of the space.
The result is a modern farm estate where contemporary living seamlessly harmonizes with rural identity.
