CHALET NENDAZ

The house is located in the town of Nendaz, in the canton of Valais, near one of the most beautiful and popular ski resorts in Switzerland. The steep slope on which the house is located offers breathtaking views of the mountain landscape.

To provide the rooms with views, we filled the space with wide windows, created an open terrace on the ground floor and placed balconies in every bedroom.

We shaped the appearance of the building, taking into account the local context. The ground floor facade is made of white concrete pigmented with quartz sand. On the second floor, we used thermo ash, which is a more sustainable material than ordinary wood.

The roof of the house is covered with generating tiles made of solar panels.
