FAMILY CLUB

Considering the density of trees filling the area, namely the common pine, it was difficult to find free space to locate a single integral building. Therefore, the building was functionally divided into separate, more compact units. Living quarters are arranged in such a way as to maximize contact with nature. Most of the volumes are made entirely of wood. The load-bearing elements made of clt panels also act as interior finishes. The fronts of the residential, spa and service units are clad with planks made according to traditional Japanese technology. The bedrooms are located in a separate area. Due to this, given the large number of bedrooms and the need to produce compact volumes, a classic hotel layout was chosen. The bedroom units have been elevated above ground level for a sense of safety in the deep, dense woods. This also improves water and air access to a row of growing trees.
